The Khazari Proof
The rabbi refers a lot to proving the (philosophical) God in a logical way. Is there a way to prove the Jewish God in particular? I have seen that there are those who doubt the argument of the revelation at Sinai by the Khazari.
This certainly does not belong in the realm of philosophical arguments. This is a historical argument and it is judged like historical arguments. In the first post I explained that the Khazari by itself is not really convincing, but when combined with a whole name that is fundamentally the philosophical God, it does sound plausible.
Is 'sounds reasonable' a reasonable claim to base your entire life on?
Absolutely. The principle of causality also sounds reasonable to me and I base my life on it.
