Hello, I have a somewhat stupid question, but it’s really not a troll.
It was once believed that the stars could predict a person’s future and character. Today, one of the forces that govern the universe is gravity, which says (in the simplest way possible, as I understand it) that two masses are attracted to each other. The sun attracts the Earth, the Earth attracts the Moon, etc., etc. This means that the stars do in some way influence the universe.
Of course, they didn’t know all this at one time and didn’t understand the universe in this way, but isn’t it possible that they did recognize some regularity in the movement of the stars so that their position affects us?
I.e., did the whole zodiac thing originate with the sages or did they simply agree with the opinion of the wise men of the nations of the world?

As far as I know, the matter of the zodiac signs originated with the Gentiles, but I am not sufficiently knowledgeable. In any case, the Gemara in Pesachim states that the sages of Israel consulted the sages of the nations regarding the question of whether the wheel stands still and the zodiac signs return or vice versa.
I don’t see any connection between the unpredictable effects of the stars on us and what’s happening here and the force of gravity. It’s good that you wrote that this isn’t a troll, because it really seems that way.

Wait, what?!?!
The questioner said that the stars create this force? Or does it exist regardless of them? If they create the force according to their position then they also ‘decide’ on the whole evolution from the beginning of the universe to its end…

Isn't that the words of Kash, the last physicist

And how exactly does this relate to the future?

Of course the stars influence us. They have kept us stupid for a very long time.

I have a question for you, the judge, because there is a star named Tzedek, and it is written, Tzedek will walk before him, meaning he will walk in the matter of the face. And there is a star, right? Light is reflected, meaning the star Tzedek will illuminate the face, and it is written, "A man's wisdom will illuminate his face." And all in all, it turns out that the star Tzedek will give wisdom. And if so, how do you say that the stars took care to keep us stupid? On the contrary, all our wisdom comes from them, and in them our eyes will be enlightened.

It is clearly written:
And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars.

According to you, regarding the function of the stars, it should have been written “and the stars for wisdom” Since it was not written that way, all that remains is to say that their function is to keep us dumb.

If the physicochemical processes in the human body determine or enhance certain traits in his character, and gravity contributes its modest share to these processes as one of the four fundamental forces. Then it is possible that there is a connection between a person's character, for that matter, and the approach of Jupiter to Mars. No?

Everything is possible under the limits of physics (impact velocity versus distance).
