axiom

Hello Rabbi,
I saw that you wrote in your notebooks that there are several ways to reach belief in G-d, and one of them is to simply say that it is an axiom that does not require proof, like, for example, there is an axiom regarding the sum of the angles of a triangle being 180 degrees.
I’m trying to understand exactly what the axiom means and where it comes from. Because for example, in the example of the triangle, the axiom, as I understand it, is supposedly proven from the experience of measuring triangles, in such a way that no triangle is found that is not so, but regarding the reality of the Creator, what is it based on, if not on the usual proofs that you brought there (cosmological, physical, theological, etc.) Is there anything beyond that?

It seems to me that at least in this context, an axiom means an immediate recognition of the fact that there is a God. As if I see Him (not with my eyes but with my mind). Like the axiom that what I see in front of me does exist there. I have no real basis for this, but it is clear to me that it is true because I see.

Thank you.
Are there other things like this that we see with our minds and therefore know for sure that they exist without proof? Is it correct to say this, for example, about our ability to distinguish between reality and dream, about the knowledge that we are alive and exist, and also about the identity that we recognize when we recognize a person we know by recognizing their face?
I would appreciate examples that would clarify this.
Thank you.

Indeed. As I explained, even things that are seen with the eyes are based on intuition that the eyes correctly reflect reality. The same is true of the principle of causality (that everything has a cause) and more.
