Connection to the righteous
How do you understand the concept of “attachment to the righteous” that is explained in many Hasidic books as a basis for ascending to the service of God, as well as by great non-Hassids such as ~Rabbi Yonatan Eybshitz – “If so, all prayers revolve around the prayer of the righteous, and are attached to their prayer, and he [the righteous], between whom there is no separating screen and God, through his prayer also the prayer of others ascends… and through their prayer also the prayer of others ascends” (Yaarot Dvash 11, end of Drosh 9)
~Rabbi Chida – “When there is one righteous person in a generation, the Shekhinah is with him and through him, praise and prayers are taken up by the ministers of Israel, and their service is by that righteous person, the head of the standard” (Midar Kedemoth 20:6)
~Ramakan – “And their prayer and their work shall be by that kosher, the head of the banner… and the prayers of all Israel shall ascend by this ladder” (Ilima Ein Kol Tamar 5:14)

If you are asking me for explanations for these inventions, especially when it comes to Hasidism, it seems you are new here.
When you think about it, it is not necessary, but it is possible and even logical.
Just as the rabbi understands that the prayer of a righteous person has a greater chance of being accepted [as explained in your book], the same applies to a non-righteous person, he himself is not entitled to have his prayer accepted, but the righteous person, because he does not ask only for himself [the prayer is plural], his prayer raises the requests of other people [this does not contradict the fact that a person should work hard to be righteous and not live by the mantra that there are righteous people and we can rely on them]
That is if the righteous one prays for me (and even in that, in my opinion, I don't really believe). But connecting with him is something else.
