Freedom of Choice and Prophecy

Hello.
Often we find in the words of the prophets that God knows in advance that the people will not listen to the prophet. Two questions:
Eh, doesn’t that contradict freedom of choice?
And the second, why does God, blessed be He, send a prophet if it is known that Israel will not listen to him?
