General questions about the site
Hi, this is my first question and I didn’t find any rules here about what is allowed to be asked, so I’m asking here… the questions are for the rabbi’s sake only (in principle).
- I’ve seen people sometimes ask you if you would be interested in meeting and/or discussing and debating with all sorts of thinkers, and atheists in particular, and is this something that could generally interest your rabbi? Or do you always refuse these offers?
- Are there any restrictions on what is allowed to be asked? Apart from the categories I saw when opening a question and any topic you write about on the site?
- I understand that it is permissible to ask about your opinions on the topics you write about and appear in the list of categories? Is that correct? Or would you prefer to be asked about your personal thoughts and your knowledge of the topics you have studied?
Sorry for the ignorance again, maybe the answers are written somewhere on the site and I didn’t find them (and I really did look for them), so I apologize in advance.

- Any suggestion is welcome. Such debates are usually worthless. Entertainment for the masses. I have no interest in that. If anyone really wants to find out, many come to me for talks.
- not.
- Ask whatever you want. If I have an answer, I will answer.

1. Okay, just what do you mean by “Many people come to me for conversations”? Do you mean a different type of meeting?
2 + 3. Okay
I mean someone who wants to talk to me in a meeting or on the phone. A public debate or argument is usually worthless, although I have done a few of those.
