Is it possible to act through thought?
I read the name of a certain rabbi who wrote that according to science, it is possible to act on another person through thought* – according to your knowledge, does this have any basis in science? Do you perhaps know what this is about? Is it somehow related to quantum mechanics?
*Of course, this is about the two people being distant, etc., meaning through the ability to think alone.
There are all sorts of such claims in the field of psychokinesis/telekinesis, but as far as I know there is no solid scientific confirmation of this. Connections to quantum, etc. always come up as speculation, but I’m almost convinced that there is no evidence for this. The field is called parapsychology and it is full of charlatans like pomegranates.
