Is the second and first Israel theory part of progressive identity politics?
There was a chapter here 11 of “A Meeting with Roni Koban – Abach (Avishai Ben Chaim)” who invented the popular first and second Israel theory. From there, Roni Koban showed that most of the theory is based on Ashkenazim vs. Mizrahi. Periphery vs. Center, etc. Since a large part of the right adopts this theory, the obvious question is whether the Israeli right (at least for the most part) actually has a progressive agenda that sees the world in narrow identity politics?
