Shalom Rabbi and happy holidays,
In one of your lessons on validity, you mentioned that someone who burned leaven has in effect frozen their time dimension, so if the burning was done before Pesach, then it is also permissible during Pesach. I asked if this also works the other way around, if someone burned leaven during Pesach, will it be forbidden after Pesach? And in addition, does the ruling on leaven that has passed through Pesach also apply to leaven that was burned before or during Pesach? Or should we say that because we “froze” their time dimension, Pesach has not actually passed through them.

The example regarding charred chametz is an explicit gemara at the beginning of the second chapter of Pesach. In the background, it should be known that the prohibition is on Passover leaven eaten during Passover. Time appears in two parameters (the time of eating and the belonging of the leaven). When leaven is burnt on Passover, the leaven is labeled as Passover leaven, and therefore it is forbidden to eat it during the prohibition. But such a freeze is only relevant to the definition of the leaven itself (whether it is Passover leaven or not). The prohibition of eating leaven is always during Passover only. There is no freeze of objective time, but only of the time to which the leaven belongs.

On the other hand, the elimination of leaven requires the burning of all leaven, and whatever remains is eliminated - leaving no trace of it.
