Prayer/Providence

Hello Rabbi!

There is a question/topic that has been bothering me a lot lately and I can’t seem to find a satisfactory answer.

Assuming that God is perfect, how can it be that He changes or that He has a will? How can it be that God hears our prayers, watches over us, intervenes in the affairs of the world, and changes things? After all, all of this points to God’s changeability/will, and it seems to me that logically, if God is indeed perfect, it is impossible for God to have a will and it is impossible for God to change in any way.

On the one hand, I do sometimes feel in my prayers, and in all sorts of situations in my life in general, that God is listening to me and watching my actions (at least to a certain extent), on the other hand, logically it doesn’t make sense to me, which makes me confused. Should I trust logic? Or intuition?

Thank you very much in advance and good news!

Why shouldn’t there be variability in it? Its perfection doesn’t have to be static. Think of a perfect sine-shaped function. Its perfection is not at this point but rather the entirety of the entire function. A perfect God is a God who at some point creates the world and oversees it, etc. This entirety is perfect.
On the other hand, I don’t identify with your Sipa. I don’t feel that he listens and responds and observes. And at least regarding responsiveness, even if there is such a feeling, in my opinion it is an illusion as a result of our upbringing.
