And in the supplement, the order is reversed – “Oud Yizkor” precedes “Bain Melitz.” What is the reason for the change?
I have no idea.
I think this has to do with the fact that the words “and we were justified in the law of the king, the law” are an introduction to the piyoot “holding the hand of the law of the law”, which is said only in the Musafah and not in the Shacharit.
