Reading a Megillah on Zoom
Hello,
I saw your response regarding prayer on Zoom.
Is it possible to fulfill the obligation of reading the Megillah on Zoom?
Is there any reservation about this?

See a brief review of the speaker and phone here: https://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3849133,00.html
I tend to take the lenient view, as in my opinion these discussions and sources are not relevant to the subject at hand. Reading into the pit and the cistern is unnatural reading and what you hear is the sound of a syllable. But reading through a loudspeaker and certainly on Zoom is natural and normal speech in our place and time, and therefore in my opinion it is beneficial. This is similar to hearing aids that are in the ear, which most poskim are allowed to hear through and fulfill their obligation because they are part of the ear (cochlear implant), and from the island of Tamah they also take them out to the Rabbi on Shabbat.

Hello Rabbi, Rabbi Ovadia conditions the permission on the condition that the listener be in a place where, if it weren't for the loudspeaker, he would have heard the cantor. Where does this condition come from and does it really have any weight in the Rabbi's opinion?
I don't think so.
