Shower together

שו”תCategory: HalachaShower together
asked 3 years ago

Sorry for the intimate question, but I saw it on the Treasury of Wisdom forum:
And so many guides – also from the Hasidic sector – but mainly in Lithuania advise couples to shower together and of course they will not write it in writing and only verbally because it is a very open line, I personally, until I heard it firsthand that it was like that, I did not believe it. He added that today in recent years there are guides, especially in the Lithuanian public, who advise this from the outset and not as a solution to the problem, but that this is how they will behave from the outset – and in the first year, and again, I heard this firsthand from a Hasidic groomsman guide in Bnei Brak.
What does the halacha say, and what is the rabbi’s opinion on this?

This is advice, not halakhic law. There is no halakhic prohibition in this, since what is written about darkening the room is about the use itself. As for advice, it is each person and his own instructions.

In the forum there, it was mentioned by many places, and I checked in the Be'er Moshe response to Rabbi Moshe Stern, the rabbi of Debrecen and the Torah Foundations of the United States, he writes in harsh language, "Faltz Achzatni" and "Tirgash Bitni" and also the opinion of Rabbi Nachmanson in his book "Shikedesh Essem"
However, in the response "Asher Hanan" to the Gaon Rabbi Hanan Aflalo Shalit, he writes about him that "Faltz Achzatni" is more likely than someone who introduces a new prohibition, and in his opinion there is no prohibition or lack of modesty in this.
