Signing a ketubah

I arrange a wedding and a kiddushin. For secular people.
I prefer to make the ceremony as “lean” and light as possible (the reason is understandable, and this is usually their demand). But on the other hand, to adhere to the halakha with devotion.
When reading the ketubah before signing, what should I read? That is, should I read the entire ketubah or only certain parts?
I mean, in front of the groom and in front of the witnesses.
