“Snake” or Pinchas?

Recently, a friend sent me a WhatsApp message from his degree group. At one of the universities in Israel, several cheaters were discovered who had been copying. As a result, they may be expelled from the institution where they are studying, and perhaps no other institution will accept them. The cheaters were discovered following an anonymous letter that one of their classmates wrote to the university, in which he informed on his friends who were cheating. This created a lot of chaos within the group, and one of the students wrote at length about how “snake” and immoral this act was.
I wanted to hear your opinion, Rabbi Michi. Do you think it is forbidden to inform on people who are cheating with a title, or is it permissible and even appropriate?
Thank you very much.

It seems to me that this is the right thing to do (I’m a little hesitant because this is an accepted norm and the question is why they should pay a price just because I know them). But it’s better to first warn them to prevent the act in the first place. So that they don’t cheat or give up on the test result and take the course again.

And maybe it's best to form a group of anonymous informants, where no one knows who they are, and then everyone will be careful about copying, lest someone in the group sees them.

Anyone who wants to see people get fucked should go to the police station to catch drivers who drive with one hand on the wheel and give them a report because it is illegal, as well as to create anyone who is born on the left-hand spelling, and who is mine who likes to reveal his evil face who shoots a whistleblower app, and fulfill his lust, good luck.
It is said about this that jealous people will die, or simply live and fuck others.

Regarding this question, if I have a relative who I learn is evading taxes, is it right to report him to the tax authorities?

I don't think so. The world's custom is to evade taxes. If it involves large sums, one should warn him first (possibly anonymously), before going to the bank.
