Sorry, exempt from the sukkah – fence
If I live in a building and my sukkah is mine, it is in the vicinity of the building, in the parking lot or on the building’s lawn, and I don’t like sleeping outside because it feels like sleeping on the street. Does the “sorry, exempt from the sukkah” rule apply to me regarding sleeping in the sukkah?

I don’t think so. That’s the essence of sleeping in a sukkah. It’s clearly less pleasant than sleeping at home, and that’s the essence of going out to an Arai apartment.
By the way, if this were the case, then there is a strong argument that the sukkah is invalid because it is not suitable for sleeping. See sources here: https://www.dirshu.co.il/252671/
