A thanksgiving containing 40 challahs, rolled and soaked in a huge amount of oil that must be eaten by morning, is indeed the appropriate response to the attempt to slim down our theology. Unfortunately, we do not have a temple and we cannot bring thanksgiving, but the Hanukkah fritters and donuts – are the ones that will ensure that’in the oils of our faith there will be no thinness’ 🙂

Shai, then do the math on why your approach is different? What are your reasons for a different approach? And see who is right.

If I have a different approach than Rabbi Michi's, it doesn't mean that someone here is right and the other is wrong, these are just different ways of acting and looking at things.
