The authority of the Talmud
Hello,
Did the rabbi write an article on the subject of the authority of the Talmudic sages compared to later generations? I’m looking for a neat explanation of this. I tried to find it on the site and couldn’t find it.

The two main sources are the Kasam at the beginning of the second chapter of the book of the Book of Miriam and the Rosh Sanhedrin, chapter 4, verse 6. For an analysis of the principle, see also Beit Yishai – Sermons to Rabbi Shlomo Fisher, section 15.
