The equivalence method
Does the rabbi know the “Schwantznot method” of the Rebbe of Vizhnitz (Rabbi Mendel Hagar)?
And what does he think of her???

Why would a rabbi have a positive opinion about something like this? He rules out things that are much less stupid. Schwantsnoot is a new trend that says to stick to the Rebbe completely and to be extremely devoted to him, even if they make fun of him, etc. The Rebbe's "Schwantzes" (=tails).
A Rabbi said some sentence and even managed to compose some words that they composed (a “song”), so it becomes a “method”?
And anyway, what is there to ask? If you are a Schwantz, you do not ask, and if you ask, you are not a Schwantz in the way that we distinguished from them and their scrolls.
Little me also joins the brains against the above.
This is a “method” for all intents and purposes, and it was explained in sermons and pamphlets published by its followers.
From the Rebbe”s sermon from about three weeks ago. The entire sermon is in Yiddish, but to get an impression, you can read the introduction written by the Hasidim in Hebrew, and the footnotes they added in the margins of the issue:

Here are examples:
From the introduction: “Our holy rabbi has justified us with his great mercy and grace, and has brought us under the protection of the holy shadow of the holy and pure Rebbe, who to the eyes of the flesh shows himself outwardly as a people of the land, as a vulgar speaker, as one who deals with the words of the באי, as delighting his body in all the luxuries of the world, as corrupt in his manners and as one who is immersed in His neck is in the impurity of honor, envy and pride. And here comes the decisive stage, when all the books of Hasidism will not help to reach pure faith, all other means will not help the holy one to grasp the horns of the altar, and we are left with the one and only way: the method of Schwantznot!!!
A true Hasid knows that what is visible to his physical eyes is not the truth. In his faith, he closes his eyes and does not let the facts confuse him. He walks “head against the wall”, knowing that he is walking on the path of truth and righteousness, and there is someone who holds his hand and leads him safely to the destination of his desire, and why should he himself open his physical and limited eyes to look around him and observe??? Moreover: A true Schwantz knows that a rabbi is a rabbi even if he is not great in Torah, even if he does not guard his limbs, even if he has not corrected his manners, and even if he acts against the explicit Halacha in the Shulchan Arutz Sheva or the customs of Israel. He knows that attachment and Gereishaft (loyalty/devotion) to a true tzaddik should be unconditional, without reason, like love that does not depend on anything.
Footnote: “Rabbi”k Shalit”a reveals here that his war is not against actions or even against false opinions, but against the root that lies deep down - namely, the impurity of pride and honor. And in this is understood what the tongues of pride say about himself, because by this the proud one surrenders to all the Hasidim, because what does he have to wink at from material to pride, since pride and greatness are only the fasting of Heiligen Rabin (to the holy Rabbi)”.
“Another innovation in holy leadership, not to listen to the troubles of our people and what is on their hearts. And although our holy rabbis of their generations did not act like this, but who is greater to us than our holy rabbi Maran Rabbi Shach Zi”a, who is the guide of our paths in the last generation, and from whom they will learn and do the same, not to listen to the troubles of the community if it does not interest the leader and the ruler”.
“Rabbiyyah Shalit”a bears sublime testimony to himself, that this quality of being a leader and ruler is his very nature, meaning that he not only labored and worked hard to bring it to the desired perfection, but he is already holy in his heart, and has never suffered to be subjugated by others, but was born to be a leader and ruler”.
“Rabbiyyah Shalit”a speaks according to his own way in the Holy Land, since these feasts are held after the morning prayer at around 9:00 AM in the United States, that is, 4:00 PM in the United States. That is when he usually stands to pray the morning prayer (except on days when he does not pray at all)”.
“However, he who holds the middle of Baruch said, in his private room, Rabiah Shalit can talk on the phone, because as is known, his conduct before the public is not similar to his conduct in private rooms. Because only in public does he try to behave according to the Torah in order to strengthen the faith. And this is known in the book of the many, and who will come after the king”.
On the 29th of Tammuz,
To Aaron, greetings,
The pamphlet you brought seems on the surface to be a parody aimed at mocking the great sage and presenting him as a people of the land, corrupt in his ways and transgressing the laws, and it is obvious that it was written by his opponents and not by his followers.
The matter of believing in the sages and accepting their guidance even when no one understands their meaning is not a novelty of Hasidism, since one of the owners of the Torah is the "belief in the sages", and the speaker has already explained in his talks to the Prophet the ownership of the Torah on which the "belief in the sages" is based. The ’acceptance of suffering’, that sometimes a student suffers because he does not understand his rabbi's leadership and yet he obeys out of ‘acceptance of the world’.
On the other hand, one of the Torah's treasures is the ‘use of the sages’ which requires the student to ask his rabbi about anything that is not understood, that only by asking and asking again and again will the student eventually reach the depth of his rabbi's knowledge. As Rabbi Even Shushan interpreted the mishna: ‘Be a tail for lions and not a head for foxes’ that the fox lowers his head downwards, while the lion lifts his tail upwards, and thus the rabbi elevates his student until he is qualified to be ‘waiting for his rabbi’.
And we alone walk the path of the Schweinschian in the footsteps of our rabbis, the founders of the Mizrahi, the great Rabbis Yitzhak Yaakov Reins and Rabbi Moshe Avigdor Amiel, both born in Schweinschian. In their light we will travel and walk!
With greetings, Schweinschian Levinger
Sh”l,
You are using a psychological defense mechanism. It is difficult for you to accept that Haredi Judaism can reach such places, which is why you reject the credibility of the quotes.
Did you open the link?
The Yiddish source (the words of the Rebbe himself) expresses the same ideas.
The source cannot be denied, because there are recordings of the sermon, in which the Rebbe is heard saying the words exactly as written and worded.
Furthermore, the style of this community is well-known, and the spirit of the words cannot be denied.
And regarding the faith of the sages.
I can accept the idea that sometimes the Rebbe cannot be understood, and that ”faith” is needed. But in my opinion, this is a second stage.
In the first stage, a person approaches his Rebbe, and then he examines him and his ways. When he recognizes that the other is greater than him in wisdom, fear of God, and good qualities, then he accepts his leadership.
In the second stage, when the Rebbe sometimes does something incomprehensible, the student can believe that the Rebbe has intentions and goals that are not visible to him (and even that, up to a certain limit).
But there cannot be a situation in which a person is a “Rebbe” just because his father was a “Rebbe”, and has never proven himself (in any particular way) neither in Torah, nor in fear, nor in good deeds, and from the first moment he ascends to the chair of leadership – Everyone must "believe after him." That doesn't seem logical to me.
(It is hard to believe, but perhaps the questioner here is Rabbi Chaim Meir, mentioned in the above pamphlet?)

To Aaron, Hello,
I opened the link and also read the introduction and the notes in Hebrew, and the impression from them is clear: The writers are trying to mock the foreigner and present him as empty, corrupt in his manners, transgressing the laws, throwing behind his body the way of the Baal Shem and the ways of his father and adopting practices that are appropriate for the 2018 event, etc., etc. You don't have to be a great philologist to immediately understand that this is a satirical mockery coming straight from the opponents of Rem Hager, and in any case one must also doubt the reliability of the Yiddish texts, and compare them to tapes, etc., etc.,
Since I don't see myself writing a dissertation on the succession struggles in Viznitz, or producing a film on the subject (which will of course be called a Viznitz film. 🙂 I would start delving into the subject. In the meantime, I will note in passing that Rem was considered by his father for years to be his successor in leadership, and I have now seen on Wikipedia that his brother Rem Israel, between whom there was a long-standing rivalry, recommended appointing his brother the Rabbi as a member of the Council of Torah Scholars of Agoo, so that it seems that this is not a matter of a ’catla kania’ agma. Even the gaon Ra”d Horowitz, author of the Responsorial Psalm ‘Kaniyan Torah Beshemata’ who took him as a son-in-law for his daughter, seems to have considered it a Tah”ch.
And regarding the principle, you are certainly right, that in order to be a ‘tail to the lions’, one must first clarify thoroughly that the rabbi is in the nature of a ‘lion’ in Torah and in fear and good qualities, and as the sages said: ‘If the rabbi resembles the angel of the Lord’ The people will seek Torah from his mouth.
With regards, Sh”t Levinger
One of the delusional ones here. Anyway, even if it wasn't a parody (and I'm talking about a blatant lie), there's no "method" here that needs to be asked about.
Whoever wrote the book "Understanding the Called Aaron" does not know the Hasidic world. There, the Rebbe passes from father to son, and it does not matter whether he is worthy or not. The Rebbe of the Most High was designated to replace his father, only because there was no one else in his place. Only after years did they bring back the older son, because it was fitting that he was indeed ignorant of the land and corrupt in character. His brother recommended him as a member of the Council of the Great Hasidic Grand Masters, because he felt sorry for him, etc., so he included him, and the facts are known.
Meanwhile, none of the great Hasidic Grand Masters holds on to him or his path. He is discredited throughout the Hasidic world and they are considered a delusional sect.
