The new government

שו”תThe new government
asked 4 years ago

Is the rabbi satisfied with the new government?
What about the fear that it will harm the Torah world and the families of the Abrahams?

I see you decided to move from statements to questions. To your question, I am very pleased, although a little skeptical about its possibility of survival. If it manages to harm the families of the Abrechems, it will be an achievement for which everything was worth it. See column 34.

Besides the destruction of the world of Torah and the hate-filled harassment of the Haredim for the sake of God and everything Jewish in the country, how will this government be different from its predecessors?
What other difference is there between the governments besides the expected terrible abuse of the Haredim because they have prohibitions of conscience and it reminds them of the sweet Jew from the shtetl that they are trying to escape from in order to imitate the Gentiles?

On the 4th of Tammuz, 5th of September,

For Israel, Saba, Shlomo Rava,

The new prime ministers, Bennett and Lapid, have expressed their interest in including the Haredi parties in the government. And their desire is probably not to be dependent on the extreme left (Michael Meretz and others) and the Arabs. The foreign and security policy they aspire to promote is a 'moderate left', to promote the 'peace process' while maintaining security, and for that they need a partnership with the Haredi, who are also mostly willing to make territorial compromises for the sake of peace.

There are elements in this government, such as Lieberman and his party, Meretz and parts of Yesh Atid Those who advocate persecuting the Haredi for the sake of hatred and populism. On the other hand, Bennett strives to encourage Haredi to go to work, and he said in his speech that he strives to lower the age of exemption from conscription from 24 to 21 in order to encourage going to work.

It seems that they are going to apply the "carrot and stick" method towards the Haredi public. On the one hand, they put Lieberman and Kushner at the Ministry of Finance and the Finance Committee, which will cause great difficulties for the Torah institutions, and on the other hand, Bennett, Eilat Shaked, Matan Kahane, Sa'ar and Gantz, etc. will work for a more moderate attitude, which may not avoid applying a certain amount of pressure, but with a focused goal, to encourage going to work and integrating into Israeli society, with pressure also accompanied by a lot of support and encouragement.

Bennett and Lapid's ambition is for the Haredim to be in the government, and their presence there will moderate the extreme left and the Arabs, thereby strengthening the dimension of maintaining security. At the same time, it turns out that the presence of Haredi parties in the government will improve its attitude towards religion and yeshivas.

It can be said that this government is a return to the days of the Mapai (later: the Labor Party), which was interested in the religious and Haredim as coalition partners who received support in the areas of education and religion, while leaving the determination of foreign policy, security and the economy to the dominant Labor Party.

Note that in this government, Yamina received the remnants of the domestic and religious ministries, the inheritance of the historical MEP. The role of Prime Minister, with the ministries of foreign affairs, security, internal security and finance in the hands of the Left, It is a representative role in the future (condolences to the D”alim on Schleswig winning the presidency 🙂

With greetings, Yaron Fish”el Ordner

The settlement enterprise and Israeli rule in Judea and Samaria are at greater risk in this government, in which the left controls foreign and security affairs. The left will strive to align with the US and advance the peace process in the direction of a Palestinian state. And it will help

You're testing me again. I'll delete your stupid posts if you don't make sure to justify these empty statements.

ישראל סבא replied 4 years ago

The truth hurts.

מיכי Staff replied 4 years ago

It is certainly possible, but one thing is certain: you have no way of knowing about it. This is because I have failed to detect even a small amount of truth in what you say. When you write something true, perhaps you can test the thesis of whether the truth hurts or not. The howls of a robbed Cossack are usually painful, but they are not to be confused with truth, of course.

I didn't understand the words:
“The destruction of the Torah world” which was in the response above.
If all the Haredim work like the rest of the world works, and study two hours at night and 10 hours on weekends, which comes out to 1000 hours a year (quite a lot), why would the Torah world be destroyed? There will be a few hundred or thousands of “superior” who will study as their ”work”, but everyone else will work like everyone else.
How does such a scenario “destroy” the Torah world? I really don't understand.
The complete opposite – It enlarges the Torah world many times over and it perfects the Torah world because it will be Torah that is connected to the world, Torah together with a broad understanding of science, etc.

On the 4th of Tammuz, 2021

To Yisrael Saba – Shloma Rava,

Bennett's problem is not the Haredim, but the Haredim, whom he wants to replace with a more liberal Torah leadership, since the path of his religious policy is outlined by Tani Frank from ’Loyal to Torah and Work’.

Lapid and Lieberman are the biggest fighters for the Haredim for populist reasons, and in this Bennett and Shaked are moderating factors. Bennett explained at the time that the Haredim are a convenient partner in the coalition because they do not aspire to determine the country's foreign, security and economic policy, but rather focus on the needs of their sector, in the areas of religion, education, housing and health. This time, it seems that Lapid also understood this, and he also joined the call for the Haredi parties to join.

And as I explained, Lieberman is used here as a whip to threaten the Haredim: If you don't join, Lieberman will cause you trouble, so you should join to balance him.

With greetings, Yifa'r

Smotritz is the one who re-elected Bennett, after he left the Jewish Home and failed. Instead of helping to restore the Jewish Home, and create a three-way partnership - the Jewish Home, the Jewish National Union and Otzma Yehudit - Smotritz allied with Bennett to push out Rabbi Peretz, and then allied with Ben-Gvir to push out Hagit Moshe, and pushed her over to Bennett.

The same phenomenon - disrespect for natural partners - also occurred in the negotiations to establish a right-wing government. The Likud and the Haredim were willing to form a government of 59 with Abbas's abstention. Smotrich's refusal to do so was a "seriously bad decision." It also led to the formation of a government by Abbas and the left, and also led to the rise of "religious Zionism" against its natural partners, the Likud and the Haredim. If you are a small party, you are also allowed to "bow your head" and align yourself with your partners.

I asked a very vague question. If the whole goal wasn't to harm the ultra-Orthodox after all the incitement about Corona, then why did they put Liberman in place of the ultra-Orthodox who aren't even asking for ministers?

Hello,

The main goal of the ”Bloc of Change’ was to oust Netanyahu, and the Haredim refused to give a hand to this, knowing that the right is closer to tradition than the left. After the ‘decree’ was made’ – it turns out that at some point the Haredim will prefer to join, and Liberman will also ‘answer him with all his might’, because he has a more important value than hatred, and that is ‘money’, as it is written: ‘and money will answer all things’, Liberman will receive a ‘Tosefta as a simple’ And everything will work out 🙂

As I explained, Lieberman received the Finance and Finance Committee portfolio so that he would pose a threat to the Haredim, encouraging them to join the left-wing government, and then they would take out the ‘az’ (from ’nokdim’ 🙂 and everyone would breathe a sigh of relief. It is assumed that they would make some harsh but unenforceable ‘conscription law’, and the world would behave as usual. The conscription of tens of thousands of Haredim into the army would constitute a terrible ‘religion’ of the army, which no secularist really wants.

With the blessing of ‘time for ideology and time for calm’, Kahane Matana

Indeed, a relevant but very stupid question. But as mentioned, stupidity is not a reason to delete or ignore it. We must consider our brothers who have not learned by heart and are not endowed with common sense.
They were not allowed in because they stuck to the lying and corrupt Bibi (it was not for nothing that the starling went to the crow) and they themselves did not want to enter. And now they are invited, but they prefer to whine and blame the entire universe and its wife except for themselves (just like with Corona, speaking of what you foolishly called “incitement”). By the way, in my opinion and to my great regret, there is a good chance that they will join soon.
Incidentally, they are not asking for ministers but they are asking for money and positions of power. There are no free meals, and certainly not among the Haredim.

“At a closed faction meeting of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, party chairman Avigdor Lieberman said that "there is no possibility of including the Haredim in the government. Anyone who claims that the Haredim can be included in this government is deceiving themselves and others," reports Dafna Liel on Channel 12.”

I got this from a Mizrahist website!!!
What is this if not hatred of the Haredim????

The Haredim want the bare minimum.

Anyone who doesn't know about the incitement and hatred that was here in all the media during the Corona period that Jews listened to their rabbis and maintained Torah study and fact were no more sick among the Haredim than the rest, then it's better not to speak

ישראל סבא replied 4 years ago

Gafni did not study the core and knew very well to understand what they told him in the Finance Committee. You don't need a "core" to know how to think logically and look reality in the eye.

מיכי Staff replied 4 years ago

You are lucky that you listen to your own rabbis and do not read reliable sources of information, otherwise you would have discovered the facts for what they are. That way your theory remains perfect and irrefutable. In fact, there were no Haredi patients with Corona at all. This was propaganda by the Mizrohniks (actually in hand with Deri the Mizrohnik, who the Minister of the Interior pointed out that at the time he spoke, the number of Haredi patients was almost half of all patients).

And whoever wants a carob tree, the best advice is to grow them and not to string them up and whine about anti-Semitism when he doesn't get them (even though he does get them, much more than a four-foot tree).

ישראל סבא replied 4 years ago

There would be more sick people because people live more modestly, in crowded conditions, and families with many children (this must be driving Lieberman and Tommy Lapid's son crazy), but there would be no more dead people. Check me out.

I usually write like this, because it's accepted slang and I like it. Since there are so many spelling mistakes in your previous messages, it's really strange to me to receive corrections from you.
But thanks for the lesson.

Yesterday a secular acquaintance said to me

How do the ultra-Orthodox have such audacity? To receive benefits and budgets, to exempt themselves from any civic burden, and then to tweet about everyone being infected with Corona?

I didn't know what to answer him.
