The positive side of the 7/10
Hello Rabbi,
It is known that every destructive event has positive side effects. For example, the Holocaust contributed to the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Corona virus brought us work from home and Zoom. What do you think will be the positive effects of the 7/10? Initial things I thought about:
1. Replacing Bibi
2. Reducing the division in the nation that existed on the eve of the war
3. Compulsory conscription for the ultra-Orthodox
4. Cancellation of the legal reform – following Article 1

2, 3 and 4 are completely absurd.
1 This is a cautious bet at best and it is also equivalent to ”One of the benefits of 9/11 was an electoral boost for Bush”
My point was that this is a delusional statement that gives far too much weight to political nonsense, and I cited a similar statement about Bush. Not that the situations are similar in any way.
