The Status of Mount Sinai as an Extraterrestrial Revelation
peace,
I wanted to hear what the rabbi thought about the widely publicized conspiracy that the Mount Sinai stand (and the other miracles that occurred at that time) were performed by extraterrestrials who succeeded in deceiving the human mind into thinking that it was a revelation from God.
There are many arguments for this, and I will present the strongest among them.
- The revelation of God is such an extravagant thing that we have no reason to assume that God has indeed been revealed.
- Moreover, it is not certain that there is indeed a Creator of the world.
- Unlike aliens, who we assume exist because it turns out that there would be evolutionary development on other stars that were created before our own (the materials that would allow life were created within 10 billion years, and there are 5 billion left until our own star was created.)
- Within hundreds of millions of years, we will already be very technologically advanced, so that we can speculate and estimate how very, very advanced those extraterrestrials will be, certainly to perform the miracles of the Torah.
- The human heart is evil from youth, and among the worst things is to lie and deceive the senses of another, to make him do foolish things (commandments), etc….
From sections 1-2 we see why it is not possible to assume revelation from God.
In contrast to sections 3 and 4, we see that the outsiders have the ability and motive, and section 5, that they also have the motivation to cause the greatest lie in history.
What does the rabbi think about this claim?
Isaac.

2. I read and didn't claim this. I completely claimed that they created the world
1. My claim is that to prove something you need three things.
Motivation, opportunity and ability.
Regarding motivation, the doubt between the two is the same. (And there is even an advantage for aliens, see 5 The Human Heart and Body)
Regarding ability, I also claim that it is equal. And so is opportunity.
Only you claim that aliens are not certain that they exist.
But it follows from your words here that if you did know that they exist, then you would agree that this is indeed the preferred explanation. (It is also important to remember that it is not certain that God exists, so it is still equal).
Obviously you didn't claim that they created, but I claim that they didn't create, and therefore there is a God who did create. And if tradition says that he was revealed, there is no reason to assume that these were extraterrestrials who spoke in his name. Therefore, even if they existed, it is not correct that it is better to assume that they were revealed. But, excuse me, this discussion seems delusional. If there is any room to discuss an ingrained myth, the discussion about extraterrestrials is delusional. I suggest ending it here. Shabbat Shalom
