The Torch Race

שו”תCategory: faithThe Torch Race

Your Honor, I wanted to ask.
I just went over the book, first of all, and as I understood it, the proof of the tradition is based on what is written in the Kuzari.
It is not plausible enough without all the evidence for the existence of God.
And I asked if the rabbi had heard the lecture called the Torch Race, which I think was developed in the values, in which they make a comparison
By way of example, how can a historical event be immortalized for generations, that is, so that it can always be proven that it happened?
And they do it about the Holocaust, meaning what can be done to perpetuate the Holocaust against deniers.
In my opinion, it is not proven (just as the Rabbi says that nothing in the world is proven), but it is very, very plausible even without the proofs about God. The question is, does the Rabbi know the above topic/lecture and was he referring to it?

I would be very grateful to the rabbi if he could take the time to answer me.
Regards.

I don’t know that lecture, but I heard different versions of it when I was at the seminar myself. I wasn’t very impressed.

For what reason does the Rabbi not accept it simply because it is not convincing... or for any specific reason?

Read in the book. Traditions can go wrong and be invented. See the introduction to the praises of the Baal Shem.
