Website advertising for the Meholot Festival

שו”תWebsite advertising for the Meholot Festival
asked 4 years ago

Hello Rabbi
Asking a question that I may have asked a similar one before
But here I feel it’s a little more serious.
They want me to market a website for a dance festival in Ashdod on Google.
It’s a festival where most of the dances are mixed and probably not always modest.
Is this appropriate? Is it permissible?

I think there is no halakhic prohibition on this, since if you don’t promote it, someone else will. I also assume that if it is organized by the municipality and not by a private individual, then there won’t be any terrible things there. What’s more, the participants probably do it anyway, and won’t do anything there that they wouldn’t do without it. Ultimately, if you can avoid it, you’ll be blessed, but in my opinion, there is no obligation.

Thank you very much!

By the way, a question
If it's wrong, then what does it matter if I don't do it, they'll find someone who will?

Because then there are no Hebrews here in Danhara, and you don't pass in front of a blind man.
