What is the benefit of the cosmological view?

1. What exactly are we trying to prove and gain here? Even if we prove that there is a first cause, and call it God – it is a long way from saying that this is a being endowed with will and morality who speaks to man. I think the Rabbi addressed this a bit in the booklet, but I would be happy if he could expand on it.
