What is the God of the cosmological view?
2. What exactly is God here? Is he a cause that has nothing before it? Is it a cause that is actually its own cause (sounds a bit absurd, and that it could ultimately be regressed to a cause that has no predecessor)? Is it an infinite number of causes that we have circled and called God? (sounds a bit meaningless, because it actually means nothing. You can always circle an infinite set of excuses and simply call it God. What does this excuse even give?)
And now I will summarize what the Rabbi rejects against the ancient universe (please correct me if I am wrong or missing something)
