I have no information on the matter. From what I’ve heard, several soldiers were arrested on suspicion of abusing Hamas prisoners. They should certainly be investigated and punished for that. Not because I’m sparing Hamas members. For my part, they should all be shot in the head. This is a serious disciplinary offense, and such decisions should be made by the competent authorities (especially when there are international and other considerations that could seriously harm us). Beyond that, abuse is certainly not justified. If it really happened, these are vile and disgusting people who deserve to be punished. If they had killed the terrorists, I wouldn’t say so, because that makes sense (it’s still a disciplinary offense. See my column on Elor Azaria). And certainly the human savages who break into IDF camps in protest of the rule of law also deserve punishment. But I have nothing to say about these brats. Unfortunately, they are part of our government today. Shame.

What do you think makes religious Zionism put criminals and clowns like Ben Gvir Smotrich Sukkot at the forefront, and all sorts of other controversial figures like Avi Maoz and Struk? Where were the days when a normal person like Bennett was there?

Why is abuse certainly not justified? Isn't there room for revenge against those terrorists who were complicit in the horrific acts (and perhaps this would also create a certain satisfaction when they knew that terrorists were suffering)?

mikyab123 replied 1 year ago

Such revenge is simply bestiality, and its purpose is not deterrence but rather an outlet for anger. They also don't know who was involved in what.

Who told you? Revenge can be served cold and it is possible to abuse not out of impulse but out of a desire to break the spirit of the terrorists in case they are released and then there are broken vessels?

Just a moment, wasn't the rabbi the one who said that the attorney general is right that there is no effective protest without disorder? Who determines the laws and regulations of anarchy? The left determines? According to what are the regulations that are allowed to be violated and those that are not?
Is it permissible to block roads and it is forbidden to break into IDF bases to rescue soldiers from enemies? And if road blockades are permitted, then no protest will be effective anyway if the new regulations are not violated
This is utter hypocrisy
