Yeshayahu Leibowitz and the Knowledge of Man
Hello Rabbi!
How does Leibowitz claim that everything depends on a person’s religious-faith decision on questions such as: Should he recognize his obligation to accept the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven? Should he recognize the value of X?
Can we learn from this that I, the little one, the limited and finite human being, actually creates God and without me He has nothing? If I do not recognize God, He does not exist.
Thank you in advance.
I didn’t understand this logical leap. Without studying physics, I wouldn’t know physics. So the conclusion is that there is no physics? Or is physics the result of my studying that creates it? Clearly, I make my own decisions, not God. Why does that mean I invented it? Where did you get this nonsense from?
