Abraham and Sarah – Matter and Form
From what you wrote in "There is no man who rules the spirit," it is implied that according to Rabbi Yedaya the Pearl, Abraham and Sarah are a representation of philosophical ideas as matter and form. "This is essentially a reference to the biblical stories as a type of educational myth and not as a historical text." I would like to note that in his response printed in the Rashba's responsa, it is explained that there were never any people who explained the biblical Abraham and Sarah as matter and form, this is one of the legends in the Talmud regarding them...
What does it matter?
In his opinion, the Bible in this context is not a myth but historical, and only the aggadah about Rabbi Benaiah who saw them in the cave symbolizes them there as matter and form.
