I wanted to ask, as I understand it, today we are of the view that sages did not divide their regulations, etc., but don’t many of the justifications that are made in the G.M. often show that they did divide? Sometimes only for a specific concern, etc.

I don’t see a connection. First, when there is a good reason, then we do share the regulations. Beyond that, Okimata is not a faction in the regulations. To understand more, see my article on Okimata (search here on the site).
