Books of the Book of Revelation
Hello Rabbi
Regarding studying the books of the Bible for the purpose of investigating the philosophical knowledge found within them… Buddhism, yoga, etc., which contain elements that inspire and change perception… are they permitted to study them for this purpose?
(I understood that the Rambam wrote that he did not leave a book of 7 that he did not read, from which we learn that there is room for permissibility in certain situations)

I think it’s permissible. You don’t do it to learn from them about religion, but to learn from them about other matters (this is an issue of neither possible nor inevitable). By the way, I’m not at all sure that Buddhism and yoga are religion.
