Reward and punishment
Have a good week!
In your opinion, secular people do not belong in the commandments and transgressions. Do they have reward and punishment? Will they have a next world? And if so, which next world is good or bad?
I don’t know how to answer the question of the attorney, and I don’t think anyone does. I can assume that they will receive a reward for good deeds, even if they are not mitzvot.
According to the rabbi, will they be rewarded for good deeds, even though they do not do so out of recognition of the divine source of morality, but only because they think it is effective or “feel” that it is the right thing to do?
Thank you.
I suppose so, but these are just speculations. I suppose that God will make excellent decisions even without my speculations, and I see no point in discussing it.
