What is education, and how do we educate?

Following the question about the children’s education and your teaching,
I ask the Rabbi to dedicate a column(s) to the question of what education is, and how one educates. And in addition, whether and how your perception of the Torah (“thin theology”) perceives the act of education differently.
And of course, the halakhic context – the commandment of the father to educate his son and its limitations.
Making a suggestion 🙂 I think we can learn a lot from what you say on the matter.
