moral

asked 4 years ago

What is your attitude towards morality, is it worth/needing to study it? And if not, how do we improve ourselves and become/become better people? Maybe you have already written about this?

In the vast majority of cases, a person knows what is moral and what is not, and usually moral lapses are not due to a lack of knowledge. Therefore, I think that it is usually not a matter of learning but mainly of thinking, awareness, and focus. Thinking about moral questions and forming a position on them makes you more aware and skilled. In addition, throughout life, one must be aware of situations in which a decision is required and focused on making the right decision and rejecting passions and interests.

I understand. In your opinion, how do you get closer to God? By studying Torah? Or something else?

מיכי Staff replied 4 years ago

I don't know. Closeness to God is not well defined and I have no information on the matter. I do know that studying Torah is adhering to the will and mind of God.

"Clinging to His will and mind" What is this if you don't draw close to Him (to Him?)?

מיכי Staff replied 4 years ago

But I have no way of knowing what is more and what is less.
