Mount Sinai, one truth!
Hello!
1. In the first book, you claim that the level of confidence of the people who experienced the prophecy at Mount Sinai is learned from the tying of Isaac, about which Abraham had no doubt.
My question is, what is the evidence? If there is an option that this was not a prophecy, then the binding of Isaac did not happen and was not created. So what is the evidence that they did not experience a hallucination or witchcraft, which according to the Bible is known to have been common and developed in their generation?
2. This is a stupid question: but I will ask because I want to define it well. Maybe the people who came out of Egypt were pagan slaves who, although they were not in the events that took place, but in similar small events, nevertheless accepted the story?
3. On the subject of the promises and risks of the Torah, if it didn’t come true and you still admire the courage, then is this a good tactic for a human being? So how does this prove divinity? Maybe he’s a human being and he calculated that they would be amazed even if it didn’t come true?
And also on the subject of a pervert, the expression is “a man who examines his wife,”
So what is “a right that depends on her”? This sounds like a lame excuse. The Torah wrote this simply, without rules, and it’s not just a punishment. It’s a kind of test, after all, it is forbidden for the husband in the event that he is remarried. So why does this excuse smell bad?
4. On the subject: The rest of humanity’s beliefs. You raise the option that there are different roles for humanity.
How can you say this at the end of the book after you have proven the truth? And that is also really jarring since in Halacha there is a death penalty and flogging for those who violate the commandments? (Lilul Shabbat).
5. But there really is a strange difficulty: most of humanity has not examined its faith in an intellectual and rational way, and that is why most of them do not hold on to the truth. Logic says that this is beyond their choice, and it follows that their starting point is a super fundamental and serious offense that is beyond their control, so what does God do? Create billions who will fail so that 13 guys will succeed? After all, if the entire class got the test wrong, it is clear that the problem is with the teacher?
Thank you very much.

Okay. So I understand the point that you are just trying to show a logical option, for a situation that is likely to happen even without evidence.
But: in a pervert it is annoying! It feels unreal.
And what is this: ”not necessarily wrong” Most of the world is necessarily wrong. The beliefs are explicitly contradictory?!
And what is this ”intuitions without philosophical study”?! After all, we saw where it led a billion Christians to believe a prostitute for a illogical story without any evidence. (Mother of Jesus)?!
Come on, let's face it, most of the world believes and continues to believe only because that is how it was raised. It is clear to all of us that 90 percent of Jews if they were born in America they would be Christians, not intuition and not by chance.
And this actually raises a difficult question for me: Is there room for appreciation for all people (and especially women (see in the introduction: for the first commandment of Rabbi Michael Avraham), my sister, for example, openly admits that she believes only because that is how she was raised and educated, and she gives her soul to the commandments in an impressive way) So is there room for appreciation for someone who actually behaves like a goat?! Maimonides in Mora Nevuchim 3, Na writes: "He who thinks about God and often mentions Him... following a faith he received from his friend, does not truly mention God and does not think about Him, because this thing in his imagination and that he mentions Him with his mouth does not correspond to anything found at all. Rather, he is a figment of his imagination that created Him."
First, as I wrote, there are many people who truly believe but do not know how to reason. This is based on intuition, but you have to be sophisticated to understand that even if I have no reasoning, it does not mean that it is an arbitrary conclusion. Intuition is a legitimate tool. I have dedicated two books to this claim, so it is really not trivial. And by the way, I wrote them because I have met a lot of people who are wrong about it.
Therefore, I disagree with you in claiming that most of the world is not a believer. Most people are not philosophers and have not tested everything, but who does test everything. It is a question of doses, and each person makes decisions to the best of their understanding. In this sense, I think most believers are true believers (even if they themselves do not know how to explain it). Tell your sister this too. People do not give up their lives just because they were raised that way. It is really stupid. And when it comes to their own interests, most people are not stupid.
As for a pervert, that is a different question. In my opinion, it is really not stupid, and it can also stem from tradition or explanation. Legitimate tools in interpretation. But there's no point in going into this specific issue. If you want, open a new question about it.
Answer me one and only point:
If according to the way a person behaves, it is simple that if he were born a Christian or a Muslim, he would hold this belief.
What is intuition in that?!
An intuition that my father is certainly right?!
This proves in itself that this person did not spend a second deciding on the foundations of his religion.
Yes. Yes. People simply give up their souls because they really, really, really believe in it.
But why do they believe??????
Because they are idiots!!!!
And I say this with pain. Really.
I talked to hundreds of people and when I presented them with the question above, they blushed and made up crazy things.
Most of the world is superficial and shallow, and there is some illusion as if the fact that I feel and sense Jesus or the sending of the nest is a source immune from criticism and questions!!!
Look at the world demographically: Most of the world is divided into religions according to residential areas.
How can you say that this is a healthy intuition of the observer.
It's really about seeing the good in every Jew!!!
I answered that. People don't know how to explain why they believe, but that doesn't mean they don't really believe.
You assume that it's impossible to truly believe in different religions, and I don't see why not. Indeed, the Christian truly believes in Christianity and the Jew in Judaism. See also the column dealing with PEER DISAGREEMENT.
Perhaps it would be helpful to look at a parable. In physics departments, they think that quantum theory is true. Outside of them, they think it's nonsense and that the world is deterministic. Does this prove that physicists don't know what they're talking about? They're right and the others are wrong. The same goes for Jews and Christians. Therefore, the fact that there are beliefs that are divided by place of birth can also be interpreted as meaning that the Jew truly believes in healthy intuition, and the Christian is wrong. This doesn't prove that the Jew doesn't truly believe.
And in general, what's wrong with seeing the good in every Jew? 🙂
Maybe even if a Jew chose Judaism because he likes to dress up on Purim, it proves a healthy intuition because it is the truth, and the Christian is wrong?!
Come on!!! What is this: ”It can be interpreted that the Jew really believes and the Christian is wrong”?!
But simple observation and this is the mother of intuitions, that people are sophisticated goats and they simply continue the lives of their ancestors.
I do not agree in any way with this strange teaching of merit!!!!
Just as you do not say that there was a healthy intuition here for the Christian, so a Jew would not be defined as a healthy intuition when they both act in the same style, and you see that the Christian was wrong in this way, so the Jew was simply lucky.
You did not answer me about that!!!!
I do not understand how you do not see A”Z.
Well, I guess I am wrong.
