Throwing darts at a target on Shabbat
Is it permissible to play a game where you throw darts at a target? The board is not attached to the wall, but only hangs.
Connecting things is forbidden even if they are not attached to the ground (such as gluing). Although in such a situation the prohibition is not constructive but rather sewing. Although here it is a temporary “sewing”, and certainly there is no Torah prohibition in this. From my understanding, it seems to me that there is no prohibition at all in this, because this is a connection that is intended to be removed immediately. You do not have anything that will remain stuck there. It is not only the short time but also the goal.
Why is there no constructive prohibition here? After all, a hole has been created in the target.
First, as a building in tools, and when it is not stuck and constant, there is no builder here. Second, the hole is abandoned. Third, a hole is a builder only when it is made and suitable for use. And fourth, it is not good for it.
