A complex world was created by chance
The beginning of the series of lectures on faith is fascinating, and I congratulate you on the fact that thanks to the Rabbi, we are blessed with such high-quality intellectual/faith/philosophical content online.
In the section examining the physico-theological view, the atheist’s claim is presented that the world is indeed complex, but it was created by chance. The atheist claims It could be a complex thing that was put together by chance.
I want to try to think about whether a person can really think such a thought? (Not just say it with his lips) Can he really conceive it?
It seems to me that regardless of theology, everyone accepts that if something is complex, there must be someone who put it together.
No one accepts as an answer that something as complex as A drinking glass, a pen, a watch, a book, a car or a building were created by chance.
How did a (single) exception to this rule arise in precisely the most complex thing we know – the world?
“The world was created by chance.” Isn’t this just lip service , and not a matter of mental perception ?

The universe is complex enough even without the phenomenon of life and evolution (which also operate according to defined laws). It seems to me that in the life we live, no one really accepts that something complex would be created by chance even after many attempts (not a book, not a computer, not a Boeing). But for some reason there are those who accept such an answer when it comes to the entire world, I can't understand it.
And does that make sense to you?
Quote- If there were lots of random creations of universes then one could come out complex.
I'm curious whether such a thought about a complex world created by chance is even intellectually possible or is it like saying 2+2 is 7?
