Pentagon Aliens

שו”תCategory: faithPentagon Aliens
asked 2 years ago

Hi Rabbi, recently the Pentagon announced that it is known about aliens who visited the atmosphere and even found their biological artifacts and tools.
It’s hard for me not to ask, if this happened recently, what contradicts the possibility (which I don’t think is so speculative in light of this) that the standing at Mount Sinai was done under alien influence? What does this mean for us? Is the work of the Daist God valuable if it was not actually commanded? Will an act of foolishness (since there is supposedly no reason to do it if, after all, it was all part of a misinterpretation of the aliens) yield reward and value?
This was the Shah, and now I will say a few things on the subject and I would like to ask His Honor to give his opinion on them if he can.
Apparently, values exist and do not depend on reality on the ground, since if I do an act that I perceive as a supreme value and we assume that the source of our values is from God, just like morality.. Apparently, even the act of foolishness, such as commandments that have no source in true revelation but in an interpretive error, has value in relation to the information in His hands. And it seems that God will “value” this since He determined morality, so it seems that He is interested in the actions of humans. And from Micah He knew that they would be influenced by practical ethical choices in accordance with the facts on the ground.
Is such a god likely to pay retribution for this? Assuming his goodness, which stems from his framework of perfection (and his goodness can be assumed from the morality he has established).

Thank you very much, I hope I wrote clearly. It’s a difficult time.

These “publications” are very dubious, and in any case they don’t say that aliens exist. It’s certainly not “known.” I also don’t see the connection to Landon Didan. These could just as easily have been monsters from our own world. If he didn’t give orders, there’s no point in carrying out the orders, of course. What’s the question? But a deistic God wouldn’t say to judge you for anything, since he didn’t command you to, so I don’t understand the question. In my opinion, if there is a philosophical (deistic) God, and he also says that he was revealed and there is a tradition about it, I see no reason to attribute it to aliens. On the question of whether you are valued for your method, even if you were wrong, certainly yes if you did your best to reach the truth. See column 244, 372.
