Rational Evidence for a Jewish God, Tamar Ross and Anti-Realism.
Hello, Honorable Rabbi, I hope you are managing to maintain a routine during this difficult time.
My friend and I [(whose grandmother you probably know – Tamar Ross) was a reference in Two Strollers and a Hot Air Balloon] are trying to build a certain worldview, and are currently trying to focus on theological questions.
In short, apart from your notebooks, do you know of any other rational approaches [(good) not willing to accept a sentence like “where logic ends, faith begins”] that are available to read about and study? Books, articles, and videos… everything is welcome.
The second question, which is very ironic considering the previous question and the fact that my friend is Tamar’s granddaughter😅, can you explain Tamar’s view of Judaism? Specifically, anti-realism. From a cursory reading on Wikipedia and a little of her writings, I couldn’t understand anything, and my friend isn’t sure about it either.
Only good news.
Hello.
I don’t know this literature because I don’t deal with it. I think that in order to formulate a Jewish or other worldview, you simply have to think. Reading various materials is not very useful in my opinion.
I don’t know enough about Tamar Ross’s views, and from what I do know, I don’t agree at all. Some of my criticism also appears in the second book of my trilogy. But if I may, as her granddaughter, she should ask her, not me.
