Who did not change their language!
Just wondering if the rabbi speaks Yiddish and if you see any importance in it (that it is a language that only Jews speak)
I don’t know a word of Yiddish. I don’t see any importance in it either. Language is language.

When they spoke German, to differentiate themselves, they spoke Jewish German (which is Yiddish). In Spain, they spoke Ladino (which is Latino. That is, Jewish Spanish). In North Africa, they spoke Jewish Arabic. Today, if you want to differentiate yourself from the infidels and the exterminated (in the above), you can speak Jewish Hebrew ……

No. Just as in matters of clothing (in what concerns wearing hijabs or ez), there is no virtue in wearing a certain garment in the past when they were distinguished from the Gentiles (unless you are a follower and wear a shtreimel (from the side of the priestly garment) even on the day of Hamsin) compared to today's clothing. And if our ancestors wore dresses, is there any virtue in that? I wonder!
