The validity of international law
Hello Rabbi,
Does international law have binding force? Or is it because it is not seriously enforced that it has no force?

Since when am I obligated to something that all of humanity has decided on? Even if all of humanity unites, once I am a people and a sovereign, I see no obligation in principle to listen to them. Unlike a private individual born into a public, I, as a people, am not part of a public called humanity, at least not by default. If I joined them, that's a different story. At least that's how it seems to me.
