Hello Rabbi,
I was asked a question by a friend that has also bothered me for a long time: What is the point of praising God, etc.?
A gesture of gratitude (even though it’s not the classic kind) or a request (even though God apparently knows your shortcomings) can still be somehow understood. But what’s the point of hallelujahs?

I have no idea. But I don’t see any particular difficulty here. Perhaps it is intended to arouse in us an appreciation for size and completeness, and it also gives us a model to aspire towards.

In fact, in the two explanations you wrote, it turns out that the purpose of hallelujah is subjective?
Compared to gratitude and prayer, which is from man to his Creator.
