The Haredim at Mifgaz X like to quote Alef for the army and Alef for the Beit Midrash
Therefore, they are exempt from the army…
The Haredim in the meeting like to quote that the army is not worthy of the Haredim because who are the soldiers who would go to war and be victorious? They are the ones who, even though they didn’t speak between “Yishtiba” and “Birkat Kesh”
But they never quote the two things together…
The conclusion that emerges from the two articles is that the Haredim should send a thousand to a yeshiva and a thousand to the army.
And secular people in general should be exempt.
Indeed
