Role of the People of Israel

A special people, not a chosen people. It can also be interpreted that way. I don’t know of any hidden goals. What was imposed on us is the observance of the commandments and the study of Torah.

I ask from the direction of the difference between Israel and the nations in terms of commandments –
It is customary to say (and this is how I understood it from you) that this difference reflects different missions. Do you have an idea what our mission might be? (Or is this what you meant that you don't know)
