Doesn't the verse talk about giving God a cheek? That is, when the one who strikes is God, then one should turn the cheek?
I mean, it is not right for an individual to behave this way either, because the sinner is rewarded and will return to his violence. In terms of building the ideology of the victim, this is a virtue, but it is not right to behave this way because of the consequences for society.
