Dropshipping is a business model in which products are sold to customers without holding inventory. Instead, when a customer places an order, the seller passes the order on to a third-party supplier, who is responsible for packaging and shipping the product directly to the customer. The seller profits from the difference between the selling price to the customer and the cost they pay to the supplier.
Dropshipping raises a question: On the one hand, is it morally legitimate, since it allows small entrepreneurs to enter the business world without significant financial risk and makes a variety of products available to customers at competitive prices? Or is it morally problematic, because it may mislead customers into thinking that the seller is directly responsible for the quality of the product and service, when in fact he has no real control over this?
What does the rabbi think about that? Is there a moral issue here or is it just fine like any other business?

I don’t understand. The buyer knows that the product is made by someone and not by the seller, who is just acting as an intermediary. So what’s the problem? The intermediary presents himself as the manufacturer?

The broker does not present the fact that the product is not his, and the impression obtained is that the product is indeed his, but this is not explicitly stated anywhere, so there is no apparent lie here.
(The broker buys from a supplier who also supplies the products to Aliexpress and checks that the product is of good quality before)

And what about the wind? The buyer does not know the seller or the supplier.

I don't understand. So do you think there's a problem with that or is it okay?

I don't see a problem.

Jeremiah, there are sites where the seller may not have control over the quality of the products, but in the end they come to him with complaints no matter his excuses. The fees that will be charged for his lies on PayPal will take time to pay back.

This is a case where the seller knows the supplier, and knows the quality of the products.
