Academia and Beit Midrash and their integration
Peace and blessings, Miki.
Zani is currently studying computer science at university in the first year after studying at a high school for 5 years, and the studies require a lot of investment.
How was your period of study (especially since you continued on to graduate degrees) in terms of your ability to combine deep and serious Torah study (meaning the Gemara) and “growing in Torah” while studying for a serious scientific degree? How did you manage to combine these two things and do you have any tips for combining these two things?
I have a (disappointing) feeling that I will have to neglect studying the Gemara (not to mention the daily Daf Yomi, etc.) for the duration of my studies.
Thank you very much in advance and much appreciated.

Personal question
When you were in your first degree, did you have a specific time dedicated to Torah or did you study whenever you had the chance? And on average, how much did you study per day during a typical semester? (Not including exam periods or vacations)
In my undergraduate degree, I wasn't at the stage where I wanted to study yet. So I can't answer you in a relevant way.
I can say that I did quite a few things that I saw value in during my undergraduate degree, and it depends on how willing you are to give up excellence and the importance you see in other pursuits.
Here is the Yachava Da'at version.
For the Yachava version, it says —> https://mikyab.net/%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%AA/%d7%90%d7%a7%d7%93%d7%9e%d7%99%d7%94-%d7%95%d7%9c%d7%99%d7%9e%d7%95%d7%93/
Both Einstein and the Rabbi got about an 80 in their first degree, so I'm in good company 🙂
