Dressed in prayer
What does the Rabbi say about wearing a kilt, and especially short pants? In the Mishnah Berurah, he writes that it is a real halachic problem, going beyond what is appropriate and to what extent does the Rabbi think it is necessary to wear respectable clothing in prayer and on Shabbat?

True, but even in today's norm, short pants are not something to be respected, and when a person is respected, even if he plays sports, he will wear long pants, and they have a definition of wearing respectable clothes. According to today's norm, that is, to what or to whom can this be compared, or everyone has their own norm, and also everyone who is important is respected to what level, what should he compare it to, that is, if he were so and so or met a so and so, how would he dress?
You are as expert as I am on questions of norms. Certainly regarding your own place. I have no objective and general standard.
