His birthday is in a few months. We'll wait and see how many times they lift the chair, then subtract 1.

5,784 or billions of years, I just heard on Daniel Doshi's podcast that the rabbi gives room for the possibility that we and apes came from the same creature.

Indeed, I give room for a well-founded scientific conclusion. Surprising.

So how old is the world?

mikyab Staff replied 1 year ago

I said, wait until your birthday and then we'll see.

Maybe anyway

If the Rabbi suggests that on Rosh Hashanah we celebrate 5,785 years to the world and that it was there that the first Adam was created, then it is not possible that the first Adam was created together with the world and that evolutionary development occurred in the six days of the creation of the world.
