Good week, and peace to the esteemed Rabbi,
I wanted to ask the Rabbi, is there a way for us to deal with the famous question that asks whether Reuven’s subjective experience is the same as Shimon’s?
As far as I know, the Rabbi often uses the fact that we have intuition to solve questions of analogy, and I also saw that you solved the famous question about the problem of other minds with this. But I don’t think this method will be useful in this case. Because although intuition can show that the psycho-physical structure (including consciousness) is present in both. It has no ability to experience how the other experiences.
So I wanted to ask,
A. Does this still solve the problem? Or does the rabbi have another idea for a solution?
on. Does this question even have a definitive answer? After all, the main thing is that the experience does indeed describe reality in a coherent way in itself, and therefore that is enough for us. Just as there are many languages in the world, but with the help of all of them it is possible to reach the same understanding of reality (not exact, but overall the metaphor is reasonable).
